چکیده
The aim of the study is to illuminate possibilities using hawthorn (Crataegus spp) as rootstock in loquat (Eriobotrya japonica Lindl.) growing. For this aim, cv. Hafif Çukurgöbek (HÇG) was budded on rootstocks 8th February, 18th May, 7th August, and 31st October 2019 with chip budding method field conditions. percent bud-take successes were recorded after 45 days operations. In bud-take, top cut from 10 cm above point order sprout budding. After 15 cutting, ratio bud-sprout recorded. addition, bud shoot length diameter also trunk all plants except dormant buddings assigned two different times 24 December, 8 2020. trial planned a completely randomized design 6 replications per replication. Differences among means analyzed by Tukey's HSD SAS program. highest values take (47.6 %) sprouting (70 rates taken done 2019. This followed October, 41.67 % (% 21.43). lowest success rate (10.58 which both periods measurement, May yielded higher diameter. Preliminary results show that can be used cultivation.

Postharvest physiology and technology of loquat (Eriobotrya japonica Lindl.) fruit.
Loquat (Eriobotrya japonica Lindl.) is a subtropical evergreen tree whose fruit is consumed both fresh and processed. Loquat fruit is a good source of minerals and carotenoids, while the kernel is rich in protein and carbohydrates. It has been considered a non-climacteric fruit, but there is evidence that some cultivars have a ripening pattern similar to that of climacteric fruits. The fruit ha...

Flavonoids and phenolics are abundant in loquat flowers. Methanol had the highest extraction efficiency among five solvents, followed by ethanol. Considering the safety and residue, ethanol is better as extraction solvent. The average content of flavonoids and phenolics of loquat flower of five cultivars were 1.59 ± 0.24 and 7.86 ± 0.87 mg/g DW, respectively, when using ethanol as extraction so...

China is one of the most important centers of diversity for Eriobotrya japonica Lindl. in the world. In this study, seven loquat cultivars grown in China were evaluated for their phenolic compounds and antioxidant activity. Eleven phenolic compounds, i.e., 3-p-coumaroylquinincacid (3-p-CoQA), 5-caffeoylquinic acid (5-CQA), 4-caffeoylquinic acid (4-CQA), 3-caffeoylquinic acid (3-CQA), 5-feruloyl...
